Top 5 Skruf Products
I’ve been a big fan of the Skruf line for quite a while. Going back to 2009 when I first started snus, I enjoyed their products. I think a lot of it has been that Skruf is kind of the “rebel line”. They’re a little different from the usual products. There are a lot of products in the Skruf family, both in their snus line and also nicotine pouches in their Skruf Superwhite line. Today, I’m going to share with you my top 5 favorite snus products in the Skruf family. If you’ve never had this line before, this will be a great jumping in point!
Skruf Xtra Stark Original Portion
Of all the traditional Skruf products, their Xtra Stark Original Portion is my favorite. First, it has the rose oil flavor that all the traditional Skruf products have, which really add a lot of dimension to the snus. But for me, it’s the tobacco base. In this one, I notice a darker, deeper tobacco base than I do with their regular strength or stark versions. This one is a little stronger than I prefer to use full time, but the flavor is really top notch.
Skruf Stark Loose
Skruf Stark Loose is one of my favorite loose products on the market. The grind is fantastic, and it’s super easy to work with. It has a really nice flavor that is a mix of earthy tobacco, gentle citrus, and sweet rose oil, and it blends really well together. It’s a stark, but it isn’t super strong. Which to me is good because I like to bake big prillas of this stuff to get the most flavor I can!
Skruf Original Portion
Like the previous two, this one has the same classic flavor of Skruf: tobacco, citrus, and rose oil. But with this one, it’s a regular strength. So, in the Skruf family with the classic Skruf flavor, this is the all day every day one. It’s not too strong, not too weak. It has a present flavor, and is truly one you can use day in and day out and not get tired of.
Skruf Mint Slim Fresh White
There are a lot of mint products out there. But this is one of very few that I use and enjoy myself. This is a very well balanced mint flavor, that isn’t too bold, not too in your face, and not too sweet. It’s also regular strength, which isn’t common these days, either. If you use one mint products, or like to have multiple in your rotation, you’ll find this is one that really becomes something you reach for a lot after having it. It’s quite good.
Skruf Tranbar Slim White
This snus has been around for quite a while. I remember trying it when I first started snus years ago. I remember it being an original portion back then, though. It’s a white portion now. Cranberry isn’t a super common flavor, but it’s a pretty enjoyable one. It’s different, it’s fruity, but it’s not that overly sweet fruity taste. So if you want something more dialed back and subdued, but different, this is one you’ll probably enjoy. It’s one I have from time to time. Not a full time product, but one I always have a can or two of in my freezer for when I want something different.

And there you have it, my top 5 favorite Skruf Snus products. Skruf has a lot of products so it was fun to dive into the family and check some of them out to put a list together. Ultimately, it came down to the 5 I’ve always enjoyed the most, so that was pretty easy for me.
