Best Spring Snus Products - Spring 2024 Edition
Though I enjoy summer adventures, there is no better time than right now - the beginning of spring. Coming out of winter, this is the time where everything starts to bloom again, the grass starts to turn green, and the weather starts to warm up. Today, we’re going to chat about the spring season, and some snus flavors that will fit just right with the season! The weather has been warming up a lot here on our farm lately, so I’ve been back to work outside, and in our greenhouse. Usually about mid February is when I begin starting my seeds germinating, and usually around early April is when we start putting stuff in the ground. After our fall harvest, the period between late fall and early spring is super cold here, and grey and dreary. So I’ve been enjoying planting again, and getting things ready for the spring season! Early season usually is when we start things like peppers, tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. Then as the season goes on we start other things like melons, corn, potatoes, and things like that. We usually plant a lot of things, because nothing is better than fresh vegetables. We grow all of our produce here without pesticides, so everything is truly all natural. And, it just tastes better!
When I’m working outside, I always like pairing my flavors with what I’m doing. Whether it’s the type of beer I have, the Gatorade I drink to hydrate, or the snus that is in my lip, it’s one of the fun experiences you can have in the spring. And, in the world of snus, there are a lot of great flavors that really vibe well with the spring season. Today, I’m going to run down with you my top 10 favorites that I’ll be keeping in my lip this spring season! Jakobsson’s Wintergreen Slim White Portion

Snubie’s Comments: Wintergreen has always been a hit and miss flavor for me. While it’s not one I use all the time, it’s one I reach for when the mood is right. Usually, if I’m doing something outdoors, or I’m in the woods, it’s a flavor I tend to use more often. In the winter, I didn’t use it too much, but now that it’s warming up, it’s back in my orders again. And this is the one I use most often: Jakobsson’s Wintergreen White Slim. The pouch has a nice fit, the flavor is mild, and balanced, and it’s one you can use all day long and not get tired of.
Kapten Lingon X-Stark White Portion

Snubie’s Comments: Kapten Lingon is one that doesn’t get talked about much, but it’s one I always like to use in the spring or in the fall. It’s a flavor that fits really well when you’re outdoors, or if you’re working in your garden. The taste is well balanced, it has a nice tobacco base, and the pouch is plump, and soft. It’s a really well rounded product that I wish more people would try out, probably one of the best of the Kapten series!
Catch Eucalyptus White Large

Snubie’s Comments: If you’re like me, you know that the spring season can bring on allergies, as well as the cold. For me, when I catch a cold, this is a snus I always keep around when the season hits. This one has a nice menthol/eucayptus flavor, so if your throat hurts or you’re not wanting something with a big flavor to it, this is one that is just right for the cold and allergy season. I’ve used it during this time of year ever since I started snus 15 years ago, and I’ll be grabbing more soon for the allergy season of 2024!
Göteborgs Rapé White Large

Snubie’s Comments: When I think of spring, I think of things like herbs, and flowers. And the Göteborgs Rapé series has a nice presence of both. Weather you use the White Large version of the XRANGE Slim White version, you’ll find a beautiful herbal presence with lavender notes in this one that are really comfortable and enjoyable during the spring season. I use this snus all the time, but I use it a lot more when spring comes around!
Kronan Stark White Portion

Snubie’s Comments: If you’ve read anything of mine before, you know that I’m not the biggest fan of the Kronan series. But, during the spring season, it’s one that I keep a few cans of in my freezer. This one has a nice herbal taste with floral hints of violet. I’ve found when I’m outside working in the garden the flavor of this one is pretty nice. The herbal/floral balance with the tobacco flavor comes across really well, even with the dill taste that I’m not usually the biggest fan of. But, to each their own. I actually know quite a few who use this year round!
Lundgren’s Norrland White Portion

Snubie’s Comments: This is probably my favorite one on this entire list. When spring (and summer) roll around, this is one I always keep handy. I’ve always liked the flavor of Norrland when I’m in the woods, because the spruce and pine flavors of this one really accentuate that outdoorsy experience. I always recommend this one to people who are new to snus because the flavor is so well balanced it’s one you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. If you’ve never had this one, it’s one you’ll want to have on your next order.
One Lila White Portion

Snubie’s Comments: This is a snus that always makes my list every year when I look at spring flavors. It’s one of the only snus products on the market that has this type of flavor, which makes it pretty unique. The violet and licorice flavors of this one blend really well, and come across in a rather enjoyable way. The tobacco base is a milder one, and the flavors mesh really well with it. Even if you don’t like licorice, this is still a snus that I think anyone can enjoy.
Tre Ankare White Portion

Snubie’s Comments: Tre Ankare has been a favorite snus of mine ever since I started using snus 15 years ago. It’s one that doesn’t get a lot of discussion in the snus community, but it’s one that a lot of people I know use full time. This is an herbal snus, with a mild tobacco flavor. I wish they made this one in a loose, or an original portion. But, as it sits, the white portion version of Tre Ankare is quite enjoyable! This is one of those products that is so well balanced you can use it all day, every day!
Vårgårda Skog White Portion

Snubie’s Comments: This is a relatively new products, and is one that has been creeping more and more into my favorites. This is an outdoorsy type of flavor that has an interesting blend of juniper and pine. It’s almost like a mix of Göteborgs Rapé and Lundgren’s Norrland. They also make it in a stark now, for those who may want a stronger one! The pouches are nice and plump, and have a great mouthfeel. If you’ve never had this one, I guarantee it’s one you’ll want to try out.
