So today, I wanted to sit down and go over the nicotine pouch category and do my best to make suggestions for people who are tobacco enthusiasts, but looking for products that they can use in the nicotine pouch industry.
I broke down some of the main “flavor categories” in the world of snus and chewing bags, and tried to find the more traditional flavors that appeal to folks like me, tobacco enthusiasts. Citrus / Traditional Flavors
The citrus, or traditional, flavor is probably the most popular flavor in the world of snus. It’s not a super common flavor with nicotine pouches, but there are a few options.

Snubie’s Comments: This one is citrusy, but it’s a little bit different. It’s a little more on the sweeter side, but it’s still a nice, well balanced taste of lime and lemon, and is one that people who enjoy the taste of citrus can mostly likely enjoy, I believe.
Mint Flavors
It’s undeniable that mint is the one of the most popular flavors in the world of snus. In nicotine pouches, there are a lot of mint flavors. And I mean a lot. Most of them are way too strong. Many of them are too sweet. But I have one that I want to suggest!
Lundgrens Rimfrost

Snubie’s Comments: This is undeniably the best mint nicotine pouch on the market. It has plump, full sized pouches, which is uncommon with nicotine pouches. It also has a natural, mellow mint flavor without an abundance of sweetness. And it has a normal nicotine strength. If you’re a snus lover, or a chew bag enthusiast, this one is absolutely the one you’ll want to try out!
Herbal / Outdoorsy Flavors
The herbal and outdoorsy flavor is a pretty popular one with snus. This is one that, unfortunately, hasn’t really been embraced much with the nicotine pouch category. But, there is one that I think scratches that itch.

Snubie’s Comments: This one has a pretty interesting and complex flavor profile. It has a berry taste, but it also has some herbs, and some floral elements. It’s similar to GR, a popular snus. While not an exact clone, it’s one that is approachable to lovers of both GR snus and GR chew bags.
Tobacco Flavors
This is a flavor I wanted to focus in on. Obviously, nicotine pouches don’t have tobacco. But many of us, myself included, really love the taste of tobacco! So, where does this leave us? Well, nicotine pouch manufacturers have been attempting to make the tobacco taste in a tobacco free product. Honestly, no one has ever gotten close to it. Some, like the ones below, remind me of tobacco without actually tasting like tobacco. This is about as close as you can get, so I want to recommend a few that I think tobacco lovers will appreciate.

The flavor profile on this one is very reminiscent of tobacco, but doesn’t taste exactly like tobacco. But, if you’re looking for something somewhat close, this is the one.
Lundgrens Mörk

Snubie’s Comments: This one is one that could be in the tobacco category, or the traditional category. To me, this is probably the most complex, mature, rich tasting nicotine pouch on this list. It’s not super sweet. It has plump pouches. The flavor components are mature, and evolved. It’s one that I think every snus or chew bag enthusiast should try out.
Wintergreen Flavors
In the tobacco world, snus and dipping tobacco, wintergreen is one of the most popular flavors of them all. In nicotine pouches, it’s very strange to me that there aren’t more wintergreen flavored nicotine pouches out there. It’s quite surprising! But, there is one out there that I suggest trying.

Snubie’s Comments: This is, quite possibly, the wintergreen nicotine pouch you’re going to want to try if you like wintergreen tobacco. While not an exact clone of a wintergreen snus, it is about as close as you’re going to get. It’s pretty good, honestly!
The Bottom Line
While nicotine pouches aren’t the same thing as snus, and they’re not really that close to tobacco products for those of us who are tobacco enthusiasts, I wanted to put this list together for folks who are tobacco enthusiasts. If you can’t get snus or chew bags anymore, you may be feeling lost, or left out. Honestly, I’d suggest grabbing all of these and trying them out. I think you’ll be able to find a few out of this list that you’re going to enjoy. While not the same thing as snus, these products are a good option if you can’t get snus or chew bags any longer!
