Review: Lynx Tropic Passion
Since I was young, I’ve always been a big fan of the beach. I love blue water, and my toes in the sand. I enjoy having a tropical beverage in my hand, and enjoying good tropical foods. One of the things that we don’t see much in the world of snus is tropical flavors. This is why I will often venture into the nicotine pouch segment to get some flavors that translate well to the beach. Or, those that remind me of being on the beach! One of them is a newcomer to the nicotine pouch category that I’ll be reviewing today. This is Lynx Tropic Passion, a product made by Another Snus Factory in Sweden. Opening up the can, I pick up a clear, fruity, tangy, tropical aroma. It’s slightly sweet but not overly so. I notice some citrusy tones that come through in a mild way. The tropical presence I pick up reminds me of mango, perhaps a little guava or papaya in there. But the aroma is very well rounded, and has a nice presence to it. The pouches are great. I find them to have a slim fit, and a very nice, soft feel to them. The moisture amount is solid, and the flavor release is top notch. When under the lip, I find them to feel quite nice against the gum! As far as the flavor goes, it’s quite good. Again, it’s much like being on the beach! The tropical taste of mango, guava, and papaya mixes well with notes of citrus. It’s tangy, tart, and slightly sweet. And all these components mix very well together. In the nicotine strength, this one feels a little over regular strength, but not too over the top. The flavor also lasts quite a while, well up to 45 minutes, on average!
The Bottom Line
All in all, I have to say, this is a very tasty pouch. As summer is approaching, I am definitely going to have to keep some more of this around for our beach trips. The flavor is great, the pouch is comfortable, the nicotine delivery is comfortable, and the flavor lasts quite a while with it’s longevity. That makes a pretty high quality experience, in my opinion. Lynx is a newcomer to the world of nicotine pouches, but this series is going to be one you don’t want to sleep on.
