Review: Vika Ice Cool Mint
It’s been quite a while since I’ve had Vika, so it’s been fun revisiting this one this week. I think it was back in early 2021 that I had it for the first time, so it’s been a few years. Today, we’re checking out one of their nicotine pouch products: Vika Ice Cool Mint. This is a mint flavored nicotine pouch with a regular strength nicotine level. Opening the can, I encounter a light aroma of peppermint, but a little spearmint in the mix as well. The aroma is present, fresh, and has a smooth aspect to it. The pouches are slim, soft, and semi-moist. Under the lip they have a nice feel against the gum, and deliver a subtle cooling sensation in the lip and throughout the mouth. The flavor is pretty decent on this one. It’s not super in your face, and has a fresh mint flavor to it. It seems to be a mix of peppermint and spearmint, but not super sharp or in your face. It’s very well balanced. There is a light sweetness to it, which doesn’t come across as overdone at all. In the nicotine strength, this one has a steady delivery right at the regular strength level. I find the flavor lasts a good 40-45 minutes, on average.
The Bottom Line
This one honestly is a pretty decent little pouch. I like the regular strength level, because you don’t see that very often. The flavor is pretty solid, and very approachable and well balanced. All in all, it’s a pretty nice mint flavored nicotine pouch. There’s quite a few in this category, but honestly this one is definitely worth a try if you’ve never had it before.
