Best New Products of 2023
Happy New Year! 2023 is behind us, and we are launching into 2024! I thought it would be fun to take a look back on the best new products that launched here on SnusExpress.com!
Klint Cola

Snubie’s Thoughts: I’m a big fan of cola flavored pouches, and I really enjoyed this new release in the Klint family. This one blends a sweet taste of cola with a little tart lime. It’s different from a lot of the other cola products on the market, and is really nice when you’re enjoying an ice cold cola beverage! Klint makes some high quality products, so if you’ve never had them before, the entire line is worth diving into. However, this is the best Klint product launched in 2023, and one of the best in the Klint line!
Loop Cassis

Snubie’s Thoughts: I’m a big fan of the taste of black currant. 2023 was a great year for people like me, as there were two new black currant flavors released last year. First, we have one from Loop. I’ve been a big fan of the Loop series since it launched, and their take on the black currant flavor is pretty nice! It’s not as sweet as the next one we’ll talk about, but it comes across as a balanced, present, beautiful taste of black currant.
Velo Cinnamon

Snubie’s Thoughts: I love the taste of cinnamon. Whether it’s in dessert, or in chewing gum, it’s a flavor that I really enjoy. However, it’s not one we’ve seen a lot of in the nicotine pouch world. Velo remedied that problem last year and launched this one, Velo Cinnamon Flame! This one has an interesting flavor that is a balance of sweet and spicy, and it also has a nice warming sensation when you put it in your upper lip. This is probably one of the flavors I enjoyed most last year, and one I’d definitely suggest trying
Velo Jalapeno

Snubie’s Thoughts: For many years, I’ve really enjoyed Loop’s take on the jalapeno and lime flavor profile. Velo much have noticed how popular that flavor was, because they launched their own take on the taste last year: Velo Fresh Jalapeno. This one has a little more heat to it, I noticed, than the Loop one. In this one, I can taste more jalapeño, which is pretty nice. I like the Loop one a little more, but I really found myself enjoying this one. It’s also great to pair with a beer!
Velo Purple

Snubie’s Thoughts: A while back, Velo released a mini nicotine pouch with a grape flavor. I was a little bummed, because I liked the taste, but I don’t really use a lot of mini portions. However, that problem was fixed last year with this one! This one is a slim sized pouch with the same taste as the mini version. If you haven’t had it before, you’re missing out. This one has one of the only grape flavors on the market. It’s a little on the sweet side, and is one I find myself enjoying an awful lot. If you’ve missed it somehow, make sure you put this one on your next order!
Volt Zesty Citrus

Snubie’s Thoughts: I’ve always been a big fan of citrus pouches. I really like the one by Klint and the one by Ace. Swedish Match launched a new one last year in their Volt series, this one with a “super strong” strength! If you’ve ever had Zyn Citrus Slim Strong before, you’ll find this one to taste pretty similar to that. It has a tart, lemon/lime flavor with a little citrus, but this one has an extra kick of nicotine to it. I really like the flavor of it, and this one is a great one to pair with a beer. I find strong Imperial IPAs to be the best pairing, if you’re into that sort of thing!

Snubie’s Thoughts: I think of everything I tried in 2023, this one product right here was the one I found myself the most curious and nervous about. I’m a big fan of Göteborgs Rapé Snus. When I saw a nicotine pouch version I thought it was going to be really good, or really bad. In the end, I found myself enjoying it, but not because it tastes like GR. It has it’s own flavor profile that is inspired by GR, but does’t taste like GR. To me, this one tastes like a mix of lavender and lime. It’s a curious flavor, but one that actually works pretty well. I definitely would recommend it if you haven’t tried it before.
