Review: Puck Icing Extreme Strong (Large Portion)
Today, we’re checking out a product by The Snus Factory in Sweden with a big mint taste: Puck Icing Extreme Strong (Large Portion)! The Snus Factory, for those who may not be aware, is also the company that produces my Artisan Snus, so I know them very well. Prior to being the company behind Artisan Snus, they kicked off with Nico Nicotine Pouches and Puck Snus! I first encountered this product back in 2020, so it’s been around for several years now. Let’s get to know it better, shall we?
The flavor description on this one says, “One of the strongest snus on the market! Puck Icing delivers ultra-strong kicks together with an ice-cold menthol-peppermint flavor”. The Snus Factory is known for putting their catch lids on the bottom of the can, so if you’re looking for the used portion compartment, that’s where you will find it! Each can weighs 16g and has 20 portions, so that means 0.8g portions. The nicotine content is 43mg/g, but with 0.8g portions it’s actually 34.4mg/portion.
Opening the can, I pick up a present mint/menthol aroma. I notice an aroma of peppermint, along with some tones of menthol. The portions are pretty soft to the touch and moderately dry, but not too dry. Under the lip I find them to be pretty soft, and comfortable. They come with a burn when you put one in, and then a gentle cooling sensation. The flavor is pretty present on this one. The mint and menthol tones mix well together, with gentle tones of peppermint along with an icy menthol backing. In the nicotine strength, this one has quite a kick. I feel it pretty quickly after putting one in, and it feels well over the extra strong level! The flavor hangs out quite a while, due to the dryer portion. Usually, you can keep these in for over an hour.
The Bottom Line
If you like really strong mint products, you’ll really enjoy this one. It has a fresh minty taste, and a big nicotine kick to it. It’s too strong for me, personally. I prefer their Puck Spearing more, because it’s not as strong, and I like the spearmint taste on that one more. Both are good, and it ultimately will come down to what you’re looking for in a product!
