Review: Vika Mojito
It’s been a few years since I’ve had the Vika line. The first time I had it was back in 2021, so this week it’s been fun revisiting a few products in this family. Today, we’re checking out the pink one: Vika Mojito. It’s interesting, last time I had this the pink one was a strawberry flavored one. It seems as though they’ve changed the name to Mojito. I personally would have gone with a green color scheme, but hey, to each their own. If you aren't familiar with the Mojito, it’s a cocktail that originated in Cuba and is a mix of rum, lime, and sugar, amongst other things. So when I hear a product has this flavor, I’m quite curious to see how they capture it and how it comes across!
The flavor description for this one says, “a fruity and sweet strawberry flavor that is complemented by a refreshing dash of lime”. So, it seems as though the strawberry flavor I remember is still here and this is kind of like a Strawberry Mojito, if that’s a thing. Each can weighs 14 grams and has 20 pouches, for 0.7g each. The nicotine content sits at 12mg/g, which is 8.4mg/pouch with the 0.7g pouches. Looking at the can, you’ll find the catch lid on top, which serves as a place to discard of your used pouches if you aren’t near a trash bin!
Opening the can, I notice strawberry up front, with a little lime behind it. This is a bit on the sweeter side. I also notice a hint of mint in the background. The pouches are slim, and soft, with a nice fit under the lip. They’re moderately moist, and have a pretty comfortable mouthfeel. The flavor on this one is quite interesting. Like with the aroma, I do notice a strawberry/lime balance in the flavor profile. That part is wrapped up with this minty sweetness that serves as a compliment to the base flavor of strawberry and lime. It’s pretty interesting, honestly. I’ve never had a flavor like this one before. In the nicotine strength, this one delivers right at the regular strength level. I find the flavor lasts a good 40-45 minutes, on average.
The Bottom Line
This is a pretty interesting pouch, to be honest. Like I mentioned before, I've never had a flavor like this one before. Strawberry and Lime is a pretty interesting pairing, and the minty sweetness provides a neat twist on the flavor profile. If you like unique flavors, or find yourself looking for something a little different, you may like this one. It’s quite unique!
