Top 5 General Snus

In the world of snus, there is no brand more well known than General Snus. With a wide array of flavors, portion formats, and strengths, it truly is one of the most versatile product lines around. Most General products have a mint flavor, however there are some other unique ones, such as a mint flavor and a whisky flavor. So, today I’m going to break down some of my favorite products in the General Snus family! Let’s check them out.

General Loose

If you want to taste the heritage, history, and tradition of Swedish Snus, it starts with this classic: General Lös. I know loose isn’t super approachable if you’re new to snus, but trust me, it’s worth it. You can either buy an Icetool or practice your hand baking, because this is one you’ll want to try out at some point. With this snus, you’ll get the full General taste, no portion material holding it back! The taste of tobacco, bergamot, pepper, and the subtle hay notes - there’s nothing better. If you want to start off in the General Snus world, this is one you’ll want to pick up.

G3 Slim Strong

For an all around, all day every day product, this is one that really hits the mark: General G.3 Slim Strong Original Portion. This one has a great portion which is slim, moist, and has a quick release of flavor and nicotine. You get the rich taste of General Snus, and a strong nicotine kick to go along with it. If you like original portions over white, this is the better one. Some prefer the XR Slim Original version, but for me, I think this one is the better option.

General White Portion

General White is one of the most popular snus products in the world. While not as bold as an original portion or loose, I find the way the flavors balance in this one to be quite enjoyable. The taste of General Snus is very well balanced in this one, and is a milder taste that you can use all day long. In fact, this was one of the very first snus products I ever fell in love with when I started using snus so long ago. It’s a great all day snus.

General XRANGE White

If slim portion is more your thing, look no further than General XR White Portion. This is a lot like General White Portion, but has a smaller portion that comes in the slim format. This one fits better under the lip and is more comfortable, all while packing the great taste of General into each portion. This is one that I’ve been using a lot lately, and has been in my regular rotation for quite a while now.

General Mint

I had to include this one in as sort of an ‘honorable mention’. General Mint is one of the best selling snus products in the world of snus. In the mint flavor profile, it is arguably the most popular, or at least in the top 5. In fact, many who start using Swedish Snus have this one to thank. Many continue using it for years and years on end. If mint is more your thing than traditional flavored General, this is one you’ll want to check out. It has a sweet peppermint taste that you can use all the time.

The Bottom Line

There you have it, my top 5 favorite General Snus products! There are others out there, true. But, these are the ones I’d suggest trying over any of the other ones. From the traditional taste of General to the taste of mint, each one has it’s own unique attributes that make it a good one.  So, grab one (or all) on your next order.
