The popular Velo series is going through some changes in the new year, with some new designs and some new names! Today, we’re going to check out all of these products, what they’re going to be called, and get to know each of these flavors. The Velo series is incredibly popular, and if you have a favorite flavor in this lineup, don’t fret, the same taste will continue over to a new name and a new look! For those who may not be familiar with Velo, I’m going to do a brief FAQ on this brand before we get into the products and changes! Let’s get to know Velo a little better.

Snubie’s Comments: This one is going to be similar to the last one, but it has a little more nicotine, at 14mg. I’d say the previous one is closer to a regular strength, but this one is closer to a strong. There’s also another one we’ll talk about in a second that is more of an extra strong. Of the three, this one is kind of in the middle in terms of strength. It will have the same flavor of peppermint and menthol, so if you like the previous one but want just a little more nicotine, this is the one you’ll want to check out next!

Snubie’s Comments: This one is a lot like the Velo Mighty Peppermint I talked about before. I know, there are a lot of flavors in this series with that name! It will have the same sharp, icy, powerful taste of peppermint and cooling notes of menthol. However, it has one difference: it’s stronger! If you find yourself enjoying Velo Mighty Peppermint in the less strong format and desire more kick, you can get the 17mg version and find a little extra strength to it!

 

Velo Ice Cool Strong Slim is becoming VELO Crispy Peppermint Slim

Snubie’s Comments: Ice Cool is one of the earliest flavors from this series, going all the way back to Lyft Ice Cool in 2018. I’ve always found this one to be a pretty well rounded product. It’s also one of the more popular ones in the Velo series. With Velo Crispy Peppermint Slim, you’ll encounter an icy, refreshing, direct taste of peppermint, a mild sweetness, and subtle hints of menthol. This is one that I think all lovers of mint will enjoy!

Snubie’s Comments: The Velo series has a lot of mint flavors to it. Most of them are peppermint, or a blend of peppermint and menthol. However, I like this one more than those because it has a spearmint taste. Usually with mint flavors I prefer spearmint over peppermint, and I like the way they approach the flavor in this one. The spearmint flavor in this pouch is smooth, and has a fresh sweetness to it. Of all the mint flavors in the Velo family, I think this is the best one.

 

Velo Mini Royal Purple All White is becoming VELO Groovy Grape Mini

I remember when I first tried the Lyft version of this one in 2020, I was pretty impressed, because it brought forth a flavor that others tend to shy away from. The grape taste in this one is pretty nice! It’s lightly sweet, fresh, and fruity. If you like grape and want a smaller, more discrete pouch, you’ll definitely enjoy this one!

It proved quite popular, and came back in early 2022 as Lyft Ruby Berry, then went on to be rebranded as Velo. It has stuck around through another change, and is now known as Velo Blushy Berry! This one is a great one in the summertime, but honestly you can enjoy it anytime. It has a nice, fresh, lightly sweet taste of strawberry. If you like fruity flavors, this is one you’ll want to try out on your next order!

The Bottom Line

And there you have it, the new names of products in the Velo series! Of this list if I had to pick a few favorites, I’d probably say Witty Spearmint, Blushy Berry, and Groovy Grape. I like Witty Spearmint because I’m a big spearmint fan, and it has a smooth, refreshing flavor of spearmint. Blushy Berry is really tasty because the strawberry flavor comes across in a beautiful way. And Groovy Grape I like because grape isn’t a super common flavor in nicotine pouches, and BAT made a really tasty one with this product. The others are mostly mint tastes, and are probably the more popular ones in the Velo series. Mint lovers will continue to be pleased with the Velo series, because there are a wide array of flavors, strengths, and portion sizes.
