Most Underrated Snus Products
There are quite a few snus products on the market. And most tend to gravitate towards the bigger name products, or the more popular ones. But, there are quite a few out there that just don’t get discussed enough. Whether it’s on Reddit, or in Facebook groups, I like to watch snus discussion and see what people are using and talking about. I made up a list of ten products that I think don’t get discussed enough and that I felt people should try out. Whether you’re looking to change things up, or add something into your mix that you haven’t had before, this list will be a good jumping off point!
Tre Ankare White Portion
SnusExpress.com Description: “A classic white portion snus from Tre Ankare with a smoky tobacco flavor topped by hints of dried herbs and cedar.”
Why it made the list: This is a tasty snus if you like the taste of tobacco. It’s kind of rustic, kind of outdoorsy, but has a really nice, all day every day type of flavor. It’s rather mild, which makes it a good one you can use anytime.
LD Stark Original Portion
SnusExpress.com Description: “A great-value original portion snus from LD with strong kicks and a classic tobacco-bergamot flavor!”
Why it made the list: I’m a big General fan, don’t get me wrong. But I think LD is just as good. It’s a cheaper snus, but the Stark Original version has a rich, full bodied taste that rivals even them more pricy, traditional flavored snus products.
Kaliber Plus Original Portion
SnusExpress.com Description: “A great-vaule Kaliber Snus with original portions, strong kicks and a taste of dark tobacco topped by tones of bergamot, lingonberries, cacao and Seville orange!”
Why it made the list: This one doesn’t get talked about hardly enough, which is a shame, because it’s really good. It’s kind of like a stronger, original portion version of GR Lingon. It has a big tobacco taste, and a nice mix of lingonberry and citrus.
Kapten Lingon X-Stark
SnusExpress.com Description: “This Kapten Snus come in white portions that deliver extra strong nicotine kicks (15 mg/portion) together with a tasty lingonberry-flavor! ”
Why it made the list: Continuing on the lingonberry train, this is another one that people don’t seem to talk about enough. It’s got a big, plump pouch, and a rich lingonberry taste with just a dab of mint in the background.
Brukssnus Loose
SnusExpress.com Description: “A Swedish loose snus from the manufacturer Skruf that delivers a traditional and full-bodied tobacco flavor!”
Why it made the list: If you’re a loose snuser, you definitely need to check this one out. I like that it’s a cheaper snus, it also has a great grind and is super easy to work with. The tobacco taste is really enjoyable, and great for tobacco lovers.
Lundgren’s Västkusten
SnusExpress.com Description: “Taste the Swedish west coast with Lundgrens Västkusten. A snus with delicious hints of rose hip and heather.”
Why it made the list: In the summer, I spend a lot of time on the water. This snus, to me, is one of the best ones for time on the lake, on the boat, or just sitting on the beach. It has an experience of “sea air” to it that is really tasty.
G.3 TNT
SnusExpress.com Description: “A powerful and discreet G.3 Snus with slim portions, ultra strong kicks and a light yet spicy tobacco flavor with notes of oak, cedar and green herbs.”
Why it made the list: This is one that I think people who like really strong products should try out. To me, it’s kind of like a white dry version of Lab 06. It has a similar flavor to the Lab Series, but more nicotine and a dryer pouch.
Kapten Melon X-Stark
SnusExpress.com Description: “An extra strong white portion snus from Kapten with a fruity and sweet melon flavor!”
Why it made the list: I know, most people tend to flock to Jakobsson’s Melon. But to me, this one is better. It’s not as sweet, and is a more mild, balanced, all day type of melon flavor.
Kapten Mint

Why it made the list: Kapten just doesn’t get discussed enough. And, one of their better products is Kapten Mint. I like the big, plump pouch, and the well balanced, gentle flavor of mint. If you like mint, this is one you’ll want to check out.
Oden’s Cold Extra Stark Original
SnusExpress.com Description: “An extra strong original portion snus with Oden’s popular and minty “cold” flavor!”
Why it made the list: This is a tasty one if you like mint. Those of you who remember Thunder Frosted (before it was sadly taken away from us) will like this one, it’s honestly a great replacement for that one. And, you don’t see a lot of original portion spearmint snus products anymore. This one isn’t as strong as Extreme, but it does have some extra kick to it.
The Bottom Line
Before you do your next order, check this list out. There’s a lot of great products mentioned here that just don’t get discussed enough in the snus community. I feel that these are all great ones you could mix into your rotation, or grab a few cans of if you’re just looking to try something new!
