Snubies Best Fall Snus
The fall season is fast upon us. The leaves are changing colors, the weather is cooling down, and the crisp feeling of fall is in the air. So, you may be saying, “Hey, I’d like to pair my snus with the season!” Well, look no further. I’m the same way. Every year when fall hits, there are certain products I like to order and rotate in to my daily usage, as well. Many have flavors inspired by fall, or just flavors that I think of when I think of the fall season. I made a list of my favorite options that are sold here at SnusExpress.com, so today we’re going to talk about some of these great flavors. You could grab one of them. You could grab all of them. I’m not one to tell people what to do. Though, my suggestion would be “all of them”. It’s easier to pick a favorite when you have something to compare them to. But who knows, you may like all of them and want to carry around a backpack full of snus. No shame in that at all. Snubie’s Thoughts: When I think of fall, I think of jam and pies, and things of that nature. And one of the best jams you can enjoy is lingonberry jam. It’s great on crepes. And as I’ll mention a lot, sweets are a go to for me in the fall. Lingonberry is quite a nice taste. There aren’t a lot of snus products with this taste, but it’s one of those that has an all day quality to it. It’s not an in your face berry, nor is it too sweet. But it’s certainly one you can enjoy day in and day out. Swedish Match’s take on it, in the GR family, is a highly enjoyable one with a regular nicotine strength and a very well balanced flavor profile.
General Mackmyra Original Portion

Snubie’s Thoughts: In the fall, I think of warm drinks, campfires, the woods, and things like that. In a snus, my mind goes to this one. This one has a nice whisky taste to it, yes, but it also has other elements that make me think of cold weather seasons. It’s got wood notes to it, it has some notes of tar, and some smokiness. To me, this one makes me think of sitting around a warm campfire, which is something I do a lot of in the fall. Even if you don’t like whisky, and I’m no whisky drinker, this has a lot of other flavors going on with it that make it quite an enjoyable snus.
Kaliber+ Original Portion

Snubie’s Thoughts: I mentioned lingonberry before, and I’ll mention another one after this one. But this one, Kaliber+ Original Portion, is a little different. It’s an underrated snus that does’t get enough love, because I think it tastes fantastic. In the flavor, you do get a nice lingonberry taste. But, this one also has a great tobacco base, and some intriguing notes of citrus that really compliment that lingonberry flavor quite well. If you’ve never had this one, it’s one you owe it to yourself to try out, because it truly is a unique, and enjoyable flavor.
Kapten Lingon X-Stark White Portion

Snubie’s Thoughts: Out of all three lingonberry products I recommend, this is the one that I personally use the most. I really like Kapten Snus, mainly because their portions are very well filled. This one used to be called Vargtass, which is a vodka/lingonberry drink popular in Sweden. They changed the name recently, but it retained the same great flavor. I use this one quite a bit, and always have some in my freezer. The flavor is focused around the lingonberry, but it has a little menthol to it which yields an interesting cooling presence wrapped around the flavor of lingonberry, too. It’s a pretty tasty one. Also, like the last one, this is also an underrated snus that doesn’t get enough love.
LD Salmiak Original Portion

Snubie’s Thoughts: Oh, do I love LD Snus. It’s one of my favorite lines, and one of those that you can honestly say doesn’t have a bad flavor in it. This one, LD Salmiak, is their licorice flavored snus. To me, probably the best licorice flavor out there. It’s kind of a darker black licorice flavor, and it has a really rich tobacco flavor to it. In the fall, I tend to gravitate more towards ‘full bodied’ flavor profiles, and this is one of those that has a lot of that full bodied presence to it. It’s widely regarded in the snus community as one of the top products with a licorice flavor, too!
Nick & Johnny Red Hot Original Portion

Snubie’s Thoughts: Nick & Johnny Red Hot has been a favorite of mine for many years. Though, I still prefer the original name it had, “Radical Red”. This one has a pretty interesting flavor. I get notes of clove and cinnamon in this one, which reminds me of apple or pumpkin pie spice. It also has a neat little warming sensation under the lip, which is a great feeling if you’re out in the cold. The flavor is great, though. I don’t hear people talk about this one much, which is a shame, because it has a great taste. It’s not one I use all the time, but I generally will keep a can or two of it in the freezer for when I get a craving.
Skruf Tranbar White Portion

Snubie’s Thoughts: Like lingonberry, cranberry is a flavor that I instantly think of in the fall. Usually for Thanksgiving or Christmas, I always make up a big bowl of cranberry to enjoy with a meal. It’s generally a flavor that I love during the holidays. This snus has been around for quite a while, and is one that I’ve enjoyed for many years. It’s one that I don’t use daily, but I usually will have 2-3 cans of it in my freezer for when I get a craving for it. It’s also a milder tasting snus, and doesn’t have a super heavy drip, so it’s one of those you can keep in your lip for an hour or two, which is a pretty neat thing when you want a snus with some longevity to it!
