Review: Fix Pineapple Rum Coconut
Today, we have something on deck from The Habit Factory to talk about, a new one in their Fix Nicotine Pouches line! If you’re like me and love the tropics, get ready, because today we have Fix Pineapple Rum Coconut! When I first encountered the Fix line a few weeks ago, this was the one product out of their entire line I wanted to check out first. And it’s quite good. But, more on that later. This new line is made by The Habit Factory in Sweden. If the name isn’t familiar, they also make Klint, which has been around for quite a while now. I’ve long regarded their products as pretty high in quality, comparable to Lyft or Velo! They have a good price tag to them, but also a wide array of interesting flavors. Klint is pretty varied as is, but this new Fix line has some truly unique and interesting flavors. So, without further ado, let’s get into this review and check out Fix Pineapple Rum Coconut!
The flavor description for this one says, “Fix Pineapple Rum Coconut 4 Slim – A tobacco free and all-white snus with slim sized nicotine pouches that treat you to a flavorful and stimulating experience! Its delivers extra strong nicotine kicks (11.2 mg/portion) together with a nuanced flavor where fruity notes of pineapple are topped by spicy hints of rum and a nutty dash of coconut. The filling used by these discreet nicopods consist of a natural plant fiber mix. A high-quality filling that ensures that they provide a low-drip and stain-free experience”. Each can weighs in at 14 grams and has 20 pouches, for 0.7 grams each. The nicotine content sits at 16mg/g, and with the 0.7g that’s 11.2mg/pouch.
Opening up the can, I am loving this aroma. I pick up pineapple first, but behind it subtle hints of rum and coconut. It smells like the kind of drink you’d enjoy sitting by the beach in Mexico. The pouches are nice and soft, and feel great under the lip. They’re moderately moist, and have a quick release of flavor to them. There’s a little cooling sensation I notice in the lip when I put one in, but it’s not minty, nor does it taste like menthol or anything. It’s interesting. The flavor is where this one really sings out. The pineapple coconut blend is beautiful, with a nice, lightly sweet tropical presence to it. I notice a hint of the rum character, but it’s not too much or too overbearing. In the ingredients it just lists aroma (flavor), so I’m pretty sure it’s not actually rum, but it does taste close to it. The nicotine strength on this one is decent, feeling just a little above the regular strength mark. I find a good amount of flavor longevity with this one, and I’m able to enjoy it for up to about 40-45 minutes, which is pretty impressive for a nicotine pouch product.
The Bottom Line
This one is really good. Like I mentioned before, this is the star of the Fix line, in my opinion. They have some other interesting flavors in this line, but to me it doesn’t get any better than this one. As I write this, it’s winter, and super cold, but whenever I use one of these pouches, it flashes me back to the summer, sitting on the beach in Mexico. I definitely recommend checking this one out if you’re like me, and enjoy tropical flavors. This one really nails it!
